Penny finished her championship with all majors in 1970, including a Best of Breed win over specials. She was Winners Bitch at the 1970 International KC show. Penny was born completely black except for a while dot over each eye. Lois Olmem called me and asked if a black lab could have bred her. Penny had a brother, Ranger, like her who became a Champion but he ended up looking just lie a black and white with a mask. Penny kept her muddy face for her whole life. The other 6 puppies in the litter were gray and white. One was Ch Malesa's Silver Glacier.
