Little Bear on a School Visit.
Every winter we did talks at the grade schools to educate children about the breed and about the Iditarod.
"Bear: Ch. Glacier's Storm Kloud," written and illustrated by Anna Grob, won 2nd place in the Illinois Women’s Press Association's Mate E. Palmer writers contest.
The book won in the Graphics and Design category.
The judge's comments said, "The overall layout and design of this book displays a lot of personality and playfulness. The illustrations done by the entrant really add a personal touch
to the book. Really great work."
To think, Bear is still winning even after all of these years.
