Bear was purchased in 1966 from his breeder, Lois Olmem, becoming the foundation and namesake of our kennel,
"Storm Kloud."
"Daddy Bear" was one of the biggest producers in the entire history of the breed, producing 65 champions the United
States.
He was #1 in the United States in 1970, Canada in 1971, Mexico in 1972 and Europe in 1973.
He earned five Best in Show wins in four countries as well as 123 Best of Breed wins.
He can be found somewhere in the pedigree of nearly every Alaskan Malamute today.
